Best Movie of the year: American Sniper

American Sniper was the best movie in 2015 so far, it brings forth a a true story of a soldier won happens to be legend from right here - Texas.

U.S.A Navy Seal Chris Kyle is one of the most lethal snipers in American history meanwhile trying to maintain his role as a husband and a father of two children ( a little girl and a boy). Kyle's dreams weren't to serve as a soldier but to become a well recognized cowboy along with his brother, a terrorist attack in New York changed his path. Kyle devoted himself to serve his country with all his life, to serve and protect his country from those terrorist attacks. While Kyle was still training to enlist into the Navy he meets his wife at  bar - yes that's right in a bar - whom he falls in love with, they get married before he goes to his first tour (war in Afghanistan).

Overall this movie's realist life of a Navy Seal, and not just any Navy Seal but a soldier that was a legend, the most lethal sniper U.S history. His obsession with the war going on in Afghanistan affected his marriage to the point of his wife telling him why continue with this marriage if he was gone most of the time, yet even when he was there with them he was there in is human body but his mind wasn't thee, he wasn't the same: he changed. Just to emphasize the full trauma that he carried, Kyle almost killed their dog at his son's birthday party...just because the dog was play biting his son. Perseverance is what Kyle had when he continue to go back to war to stop the most wanted terrorist in Afghanistan, an Olympic winning sniper that was killing the army's men. Kyle persevered, he believed, and he accomplished his mission: he killed the most wanted terrorist. Finally he could go back home to his family. Finally he has accomplished his mission in keeping his country safe.

A real life story of the physiological, emotional and physical effects on our protectors that go beyond the battle field, it extends to their homes, to their families, to their life's. Kyle was so kind hearted that he got killed by a veteran that had asked for Kyle's help, maybe out of resentment? It is unknown. We can learn so many moral life lessons from the American Sniper that it's the best movie of 2015.

  1. American Sniper was one of the most memorable movies of this year that I saw. It shows the horror of war and how veterans who have been through much hardships and struggles cope back into their civilian lives. Chris Kyle's memory and of all those who have served won't be forgotten because of this movie.
